In 1965, I graduated from Borah High School in Boise, Idaho. Over the next three or four years, I attended several colleges. In the winter of 1972, I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Then I worked on a fifth year degree in Special Education. My first job in education was at Winnemucca, Nevada, next Horseshoe Bend, and Emmett. Finally, I got back to the Boise area. I went to work for the Meridian School District and stayed twenty-seven years at Meridian Junior High/Middle School. In 2013, I began a real estate career. I have been fortunate enough to make a number of friends in real estate. One of those friends asked me if I would be interested in coming to Downs Realty. I am excited about this opportunity. An opportunity is nothing more than what you make of it, but I am thankful for it.
One of the best blessings I have had over the last few decades has been my marriage for thirty-five years to my best friend and companion and the love of my life. She has been there through the good and the not so good times. I’m also blessed with three fine men that I call sons.
